'24 Powderpuff Football Game

Parents, Students, Staff and RA community:

We hope you enjoyed the 3rd annual RA Powder Puff Football game! It was a RECORD SETTING event with over 400 tickets sold and roughly 85 students participating in the game or cheering! The PTO Middle School Events Committee wanted to send out a THANK YOU to all those involved. The size of this event would not be possible without our great RA community coming together. A huge THANK YOU to the coaches who have been working with the students for over a month now on training for football or learning the cheer routines. Each one of these coaches poured a ton of time into our students after school and on the weekends, and we can’t say THANK YOU enough! THANK YOU to parents for bringing your students to practice and allowing them to participate in this fun event. The PTO appreciates ALL the volunteers who helped leading up to the game and the night of the game, it would not have been possible without each of you, so THANK YOU! We also raised $1,055 for the half/half raffle the night of the game. One lucky winner won $532 and $533 was given to support our 8th & 9th graders on their DC field trip!

Finally, we want to thank all the students who participated in Powder Puff! You all represented RA well, with great attitudes and good sportsmanship! You embraced a new layout during this transition year with mixed grade levels on the teams and playing tournament style. We are all so proud of the teamwork you created on your teams. THANK YOU for bringing smiles to our faces as we watched from the sidelines! Congratulations to the 2024 Powder Puff Champions… The Rizzly Bears!
