What is the PTO?

PTO stands for Parent-Teacher Organization, consisting of parents, staff and administrators working together to support and enrich all students. As a school of choice, we receive less funding than a traditional public school. We count on PTO funds and parent volunteers to make up the difference. Our objective is to provide our school with exciting events, effective resources and impactful services which will maximize the educational experience of every child and benefit the school.

Benefits

There are many benefits to volunteering with our PTO! Mainly you are investing time into your child's educational experience and extracurricular opportunities. Also you get to know the RA family of staff, parents and students. New this year, we've also initiated Volunteer of the Month. See the flyer below for more information!

Mission

The mission of the PTO is to promote the physical, social and emotional welfare of the children and youth in the home, school, and community; to encourage participation in school
activities among students, parents, teachers and community members; and to contribute to funding
and servicing of special projects for the welfare of the school.

Who can be a member?

Every Revolution Academy parent, staff member and teacher is automatically a member of the PTO! There are no dues or membership fees. In fact, Parental Involvement is imperative.  We all need to work together and invest our time to ensure the success of our school community.
