After School Clubs
This committee is coming up with some great after school activities to keep our rhinos busy after the school day has ended so stayed tuned to this page for updates!
All clubs take place on campus after school. Lower school participants will remain in their classrooms until All Call. At that time, their teacher will lead them to the Club instructor.
Upper school participants are responsible for their transportation to lower school if they are not already enrolled to take the shuttle.

Holiday Crafts Club

In this 3 week club, fourth & fifth grade students will work on a variety of holiday crafts!
Day: Tuesdays (December 2nd - December 16th)
Time: 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Leaders/Location: Ms. Hughes & Ms. Herbert (lower school campus)

This is a one-day camp filled with joy, laughter, and festive magic; all while you check off your holiday list!
Day: Monday, December 22nd

Upper School - Art Club
Session #1: Canvas Painting

Art Club is designed for our Upper School students in grades 8-10 and led by Mrs. Anderson. This club will be a pay-by-session Club and will take place through March. Students can join for any session, and a commitment to participate in all sessions is not required. The cost will vary based upon the project (painting, drawing, crocheting, etc.) and cost of materials. Stay tuned for announcements regarding future sessions.
Day: Thursdays (November 13th-December 4th)
3 weeks, no session on November 27th
Time: 3:00-4:30pm
Leader/Location: Mrs. Anderson (in her Upper School classroom)

Thankful Thursdays Club

This is a weekly club for second grade students.
Each Thursday, students will listen to read-alouds, share meaningful discussions, and create thankfulness crafts and activities. Together we will spread appreciation, kindness, and positivity in our school community.
Day: Thursdays (November 6th-December 11th)
5 weeks, no session on November 27th
Time: Dismissal until 4:30pm
Leader/Location: Mrs. Schramm (in her Lower School classroom)

Upper School - Chess Club

This is a year long club for Upper School students (8th-10th grade).
Sharpen your mind and improve your chess skills by playing and learning with others at your level. We’ll explore tactics, board vision, positional play, and other key strategies to elevate your game. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, everyone is welcome!
Day: Thursdays (November 6th-Spring '26)
Time: Dismissal until 4:00pm
Leader/Location: Mr. Tart (in his Upper School classroom)
Cost: only $10 (for cost of chess boards)

STEM Club - Lego Lab
This is a weekly club for second through sixth grade students.
In this STEM challenge, students will bring their own Legos or use ours to build their BEST creations.
Day: Thursdays (September 25th-October 30th)
5 weeks, no session October 16th
Time: Dismissal until 4:30pm
Leader/Location: Ms. Howell (in her 4th grade classroom)

Lil' Matey Workshop
In this weekly club, first & second grade students will Make Pirate Themed Crafts and Go On a Treasure Hunt!

Fall '25 Rhino Runners
Lace up your sneakers! In this club, second through fifth graders will burn that after school energy while learning proper running form and how to increase endurance!
Day: Wednesdays (October 8th-November 19th)
Time: 3:45pm-4:45pm
Leader/Location: Mrs. Smith (located on the lower school campus)

Young Entrepreneurs Club
Fourth through tenth grade participants will develop a business or product and learn about budgeting, marketing/advertising, soft skills (customer service), and costs associated with running a business. Participants will showcase their products at the Triad Children's Craft Fair on Saturday, November 22nd!
Day: Tuesdays (October 14th-November 18th, no session 11/11)
