After School Clubs
This committee is coming up with some great after school activities to keep our rhinos busy after the school day has ended so stayed tuned to this page for updates!
All clubs take place on campus after school. Participants will remain in their classrooms until All Call. At that time, their teacher will lead them to the Club instructor.
December - Saturday STEM Club
This is a one-day club for second through fourth grade students.
In this STEM challenge, students will make and take crayon ornaments and a candy sleigh. Students will also enjoy some fun "Minute to Win It" holiday games!

Holiday Crafts Club
In this club, fourth & fifth grade students will work on a variety of holiday crafts!

Day: Wednesdays (November 13th-December 11th)
Time: Dismissal until 4:30pm
Leaders/Location: Ms. Hughes & Ms. Herbert (located in Ms. Herbert's classroom)
Cost: $65 for 4 week club

Girls' Soccer Club
A 4 week, 8 session club for girls in kindergarten through fifth grade. In this club the girls will work on basic soccer skills, technique & fun fitness.
Days: twice a week on the following dates -
November 12th, 13th, 20th, 21st
December 4th, 5th, 10th, 11th
Time: Dismissal until 4:45pm
Leaders/Location: Mrs. Smith & Mrs. Mosier (located on the lower school front field)
Cost: $100 for all 8 sessions

A one-day club for second through fourth grade students. In this Turkey Trot STEM challenge, students will enjoy learning all there is to know about Tom Turkey, how to disguise him and also how to build a turkey trap to help keep him safe before Thanksgiving.

Literature with the Littles Club

In this club, kindergarten & first grade students will engage with a variety of children's literature and create crafts to go along with the books.

October - Saturday STEM Club
A one-day club for fourth through sixth grade students. This Saturday STEM session will focus on the Prosthetic Prototype Challenge: Using the Engineer Design Process, students will learn about prosthetics and have fun creating an articulated hand.

Fall - Rhino Runners Club

A highly sought after running club for first through third graders! This club is beloved by our little rhinos and a great time for them to get out that after school energy with their peers!
Day: Tuesdays (October 22nd-November 19th)
Time: Dismissal until 4:45pm

Cost: $50 for 5 week club

Orchestra

A club for sixth through ninth grade, and experienced third through fifth graders. This club will focus on stringed instruments with spots available for 15 violins, 10 violas and 5 cellos. Participants will be responsible for purchasing or renting instrument and book. This is a long term club meeting 2 days a week with a performance in May!

Creative Writing Club

A motivating club for sixth through eighth grade that allows students to be creative and learn techniques to help them improve their writing skills.

Catatlyst Club

A club for sixth through ninth grade that helps bring our young people together to share a fun time getting to know more about the Bible and their Christian faith.

Dungeons & Dragons Club
A club for fifth through ninth grade that focuses on the tabletop Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game! At this club, students will get character sheets, dice, rules, a 3D printed miniature and run a D&D adventure!

Kindness Club
A club for kindergarten and first grade students that will focus on learning what it means to be kind. Students will create acts of kindness for the school community through arts & crafts, stories & activities.

Cooking Club

A club for sixth through ninth grade students that will teach simple recipes, cooking techniques & kitchen safety. All supplies and ingredients are included in registration cost. Dishes include eggs, pasta, tacos, smoothies, dessert & dips.
